 Like many artists, I've been drawing ever since I can remember. Taking an idea or concept and making it happen visually is one of the most gratifying experiences. Needless to say, this goes for both graphic art and web design. I love the entire process, from sketching and directory trees, to archival and maintenance. Every project brings new challenges, and I love to learn new software and techniques to sharpen my skills. That's why I do web and graphic design for a living - so I can experience all of that every day.
Although on hiatus for health reasons, I am a junior at Brigham Young University, studying Illustration and English. I make it a point to write, and write often - which is further motivated by the writing group on campus that I manage. We meet once a week to critique, write, revise, and edit to further our goals of getting published. Writing for YA and children professionally is about the only thing that would get me to change my career choice! So I draw, write, and make websites.
